All of us have been seduced by slick marketing campaigns promising an endless array of interest rates. We have been fooled into the “monthly payments” mentality, never the total price paid. The Result! We have become slaves to creditors while depriving ourselves of financial independence. The addiction to borrowing has blinded us to the weakened financial condition that becomes as a result.
